Tasting : The deep red color, almost impenetrable, announces a complex and robust olfactory structure. The nose opens with intense notes of ripe fruits such as plums and blackberries, followed by spicy nuances of vanilla and black pepper, the result of its passage in barrel which adds complexity and roundness to the aromatic bouquet. On the palate, Il Paturno is ample and enveloping, with an impeccable balance between acidity and soft tannins that make it velvety and persistent. The aftertaste is rich, with a pleasant note of spice and red fruits that invites another sip.

Pairing : Perfect to accompany robust dishes such as roasted red meats, game and mature cheeses, this wine is also ideal to taste alone, in meditation, to appreciate all the tasting nuances.
